This paper provides updates of biodiesel program in Thailand where it has moved into implementation stages of development. A summary of government policy for the support of research and development work has been given as well as a review of some of the research outcomes of the past year. A summary of a commercial scale venture in biodiesel production based on coconut oil with production capacity of up to 30,000 litres/day is also presented.
