The Federated States of Micronesia is the smallest producer of coconuts among the APCC countries. Owing lo funding constraints the strategy on product development and expansion of current projects is hindered. It is essential to upgrade and expand the existing small scale processing unit in the coconut food sector. This requires external funding which could be facilitated by siting an appropriate APCC project for small scale process/product development in the country.
