Professor Abdurrachman from Medical Faculty of Airlangga University in Indonesia said that the use of herbal medicine to cure Covid-19 is increasing recently as an alternative of curative medicine which hasn’t available now. He pointed out the rise of popularity of virgin coconut oil (VCO), a type of herbal medicine, as anti-viral agent against Covid-19. VCO contains lauric acid (C12), Capric acid (C10) and their monoglycerides (monolaurin and monocaprin) that have antiviral properties.
